Andalusia welcomes 1.55 million international tourists in September

Spain received 10.14 million international tourists in September 2026, up 4.3% year on year. Andalusia accounted for 15.3% of the total, with 1.55 million visitors and annual growth of 5.4%. From January through September, the region welcomed 12.63 million visitors, 9.8% more than a year earlier.

Across Spain, 1.10 million tourists used rental housing as their main accommodation, a 6.7% annual increase. The United Kingdom remained the leading source market, with 2.24 million travellers, up 7.2%. These are provisional arrival figures: they do not measure nights, occupancy or the income of an individual Costa del Sol property.
